This year’s 5^th Grade Student Ambassadors will be meeting monthly to see how they can best support JDP. They will start by becoming Parker Pals with the students in the primary grades. They will be conducting character read-alouds and assist with writing, reading, and STEM activities. We want to promote leadership opportunities. They will be walking in parades, speaking at the MLK event, and appearing on the RMN.

We want them highly involved at JDP as role models for all students and our Future Student Ambassadors.

The Objectives of a Student Ambassador:

• Develop leadership potential.
• Foster development of a strong moral character.
• Encourage loyalty to the school, the community, and the nation.
• Develop skills in communication, public speaking, and presentations.
• Become mentors to students in primary grades.
