  • Start with Hello Contest:

September 23-27, 2019 is SMS’s “Start with Hello” week, inspired by Sandy Hook Promise.  When we reach out to those who feel left out or lonely, it is just the beginning. This will be our 4th annual Student Voices Contest.  There are a few categories to submit projects, and your work should be inspired by this year’s Start With Hello Week theme: How Start With Hello Builds Community and Breaks Barriers. The submissions should also show an appreciation for and understanding of the three steps of Start With Hello and how these simple, yet powerful steps create more caring and inclusive environments.

    STEP 1: SEE SOMEONE ALONE

STEP 2: REACH OUT AND HELP

    STEP 3. START WITH HELLO
