    #1 Stay Home When You are Sick

    #2 Hand Hygiene

    • The best ways to protect staff and students is hand washing
    • Priority at all schools for staff and students frequently as feasible
    • Alcohol-based hand sanitizer will be made available.  Parents may send sanitizer with their child

    #3 Face Masks Required

    • All students and staff will be required to wear a mask at all times when social distancing is not possible.
    • All visitors will be required to wear a mask at all times when on school district property. 
    • Face masks will be provided for staff and students
    • All staff and students will wear face masks when physical distancing is difficult

    #4 Screening and Temperature Checks

    • All persons entering a school district site should expect to have their temperatures taken as appropriate
    • Any person with a temperature over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will be denied entry
    • All visitors and staff will be screened with Covid-19 questions approved by DOH Martin
    • School staff will be trained on Covid-19 symptoms to assist them in visibly monitoring students' health

    #5 Cleaning and Disinfecting

    • Surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected frequently to the greatest extent possible
    • EPA-registered disinfectant products will be used by staff for all high-touch surface areas

    #6 Modified Layouts

    • Increased physical distancing wherever possible
    • Desks in classrooms = 6 feet apart wherever possible
    • Physical Guides and Signage: 
      • Tape on floors or sidewalks
      • 6 feet apart 
      • One-way routes in hallways

    #7 Shared Objects and Physical Handling of Documents

    • To be avoided to the maximum extent possible
    • Students will use their own personal tools and supplies when possible

    #8 Communal Spaces

    • Utilizing communal spaces increases opportunities for social distancing
    • Cleaning and disinfecting between use

    #9 Gatherings, Visitors, and Field Trips

    • Limiting non-essential visitors 
    • No assemblies, large gatherings or field trips
    • Limiting activities involving external groups or organizations

    #10 Protections for Staff and Students at Higher Risk for Severe Illness from COVID-19

    • Options for staff and students at high risk will be evaluated by Human Resources or Exceptional Student Education for 504/IEP plan options
