What is SAC?
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of people representing various segments of the community–parents, teachers, students, administrators, support staff, business/industry people and other interested community members. The purpose of a SAC is to assist in the preparation and evaluation (developing and evaluating) of the results of the school improvement plan and to assist the principal with the annual school budget. - http://florida-family.net/SAC/FLSAC.htm
The mission of Citrus Grove Elementary is to provide opportunities for students to achieve their personal best and become responsible, healthy, and productive citizens who embrace lifelong learning.
All School Advisory Council (SAC) meetings are to resume being held in person in accordance with the updated Governor’s Executive Order and under Sunshine Law. Our next SAC meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 20th at 6pm in the CGE Media Center. Attendees must wear a mask at all times, will be required to complete the health screener form (attached), and have their temperature checked upon arrival. Participants may also choose to attend virtually via Zoom. SAC Members taking part in the meeting via Zoom cannot be counted as part of the established quorum and are not able to vote on any items requiring a vote. The Zoom link is below for anyone interested in attending remotely. Thank you for your continued support!!!
