Mrs. Ramos and her Health Sciences program spread some holiday cheer to our community, as well as to a child facing a difficult road ahead.
South Fork High School CNA students delivered Holiday cards made by our very own HSF classes. The Residents at Martin Restorative loved them and had the students read them aloud. The patients at MR held on to them all day.
Health Science classes also made cards for a teenager named Maddox in Pa. Maddox is currently battling cancer. Maddox's Christmas wish was that he wanted to know that people from all over would be thinking of him. To honor this wish, he was discussed in class and cards were created in his honor. Mrs. Ramos wrote Maddox a letter explaining their project and class discussion. Photos of the South Fork Health Science classes as well as one of the SF Medical Academy patches were sent to Maddox. Thank you CNA students and all of Mrs. Ramos' classes for representing South Fork and spreading lots of Good Cheer and Good Will during this holiday season. We are so Bulldog proud of you. #wearesouthfork
