Camp WET Application Information

 Camp WET (Water-Environment-Technology) is an award-winning camp for 4th and 5th grade students. There are two sessions: June 3-14 and June 17-28. Camp runs Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Camp WET is an activity based camp program, not a summer school. Participants will learn about South Florida’s salt water and fresh water ecology while having fun. The following is a list of some of the activities included in this camp:

Seining and fishing in the Indian River Lagoon

Investigating local waterways aboard our boat "River Scout"

Investigating live plankton through a microscope

Participating in fun activities at the beach

Snorkeling at the Bathtub Reef

Doing arts and crafts activities

Following a brackish river to its freshwater roots

Making new friends around the county

Competing in the Camp W.E.T. Olympics.
