The Martin County School District's Exceptional Student Education Department is in the process of writing the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) entitlement grants. The purpose of IDEA is to assure that all children with disabilities have access to a free and appropriate public education that emphasizes special education and related services designed to meet their unique needs. It also assists states and localities in providing for the education of all children with disabilities, as well as assesses the effectiveness of efforts to educate children with disabilities.
A meeting will be held to discuss the grant on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at the Martin County School District's Administrative Center located at 1939 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, FL 34994. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m.
