Each year, the Florida Association for Media in Education (FAME) selects well-written, high-interest books for statewide reading contests. CGE participates in the SSYRA Jr (K-2) and SSYRA (3-5) programs.

To earn prizes for completing an SSYRA book, take the MCSDReads quiz for it and earn a 70% or higher. (Please visit the library if your score does not reach 70% 😊)

3rd-5th Students:

• Earn a brag tag every time you pass a book's MCSDReads quiz.

• Finish 3 by March 1st to vote in the statewide contest

• All 3-5 students who pass quizzes on 3 or more 25-26 SSYRA books will join the SSYRA Club and earn an invitation to the end-of-year party!

K-2 Students:

• Earn a book brag tag when you pass a quiz for the 5 chapter books on this year's list!

• Earn a brag tag by taking quizzes on all 15 MCSDReads books.

• Finish 3 by March 1st to participate in the statewide voting contest.
