The Environmental Studies Council is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1978 to support, protect, and enhance the unique environmental education programs of the Environmental Studies Center in Martin County, Florida.

Our amazing volunteer Board of Trustees ๐Ÿ™Œ works hard to extend environmental awareness throughout the community by providing fun, educational, and inspiring programs for all ages.

๐ŸŒŸ What We Do๐ŸŒŸ

โœจ Educational Programs & Events: Annual Environmental Lecture Series, Fall Open House, Grandparents & VIP Day, and Earth Day celebrations ๐ŸŒ.
โœจ Youth Engagement: Earth Savers Crew ๐ŸŒฑ โ€“ a high school volunteer program building leadership and a love for the environment.
โœจ Support for Students & Teachers: Scholarships , a teaching position , and educational outreach programs .
โœจ Facility Enhancements: Recently, the Council partnered with IMPACT 100 Martin to revitalize the beloved Wet Lab with a $140,000 renovation, and refreshed the historic Orange Door ๐Ÿšช, now featuring a dazzling ocean floor mural with hatchlings making their way to sea.
