National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a worldwide organization with chapters in middle schools. Members must maintain a high grade point average (3.5) and demonstrate good citizenship by participating in service projects.
NJHS Constitution requires members to commit to school service as well as personal service projects. The projects help students meet the required service hours of 20 hours per year (10 per semester). Hours required for 1 semester may be completed over the summer. Members must also attend bimonthly meetings on a regular basis. The By-laws of the Hidden Oaks Chapter of the NJHS amplify the goals and objectives of the Constitution.
