Dear Shark Families,
I would like to officially welcome you to the 2025–2026 School Year!
I am excited to begin a new school year and, in just a couple of weeks, to see your scholars walking through our campus doors and into their new classrooms. The energy that fills our campus when our scholars return is contagious, and the entire Shark staff cannot wait to meet your scholar.
To our returning scholars, congratulations on maintaining and improving our status as an ‘A’-rated Middle School for FY25! Your academic excellence is a tremendous accomplishment and something to be proud of. To our new Shark Scholars, we are looking forward to achieving great things together this school year. I am thrilled to welcome you to Hidden Oaks Middle School, a designated School of Academic Excellence in the state of Florida.
As we prepare for the start of the school year, there are several important items that need to be completed or reviewed. Please see the list below:
Back-to-School Information: Find all reopening details from MCSD (Bell Schedule, Bus Routes, Code of Conduct, Dress Code, Meal Information, etc.) here:
MCSD Reopening 2025–2026Emergency Contact Updates: All Shark parents, please log into your Focus accounts and update your yellow card emergency contact information before August 11th. This will appear as pending forms on your Focus home screen.
7th Grade Health Forms: 7th Grade Shark Scholars must have updated health forms due to grade-level mandates. Students may not be allowed on campus until these are completed. For questions, please contact oliveid@martinschools.org.
