Mrs. Ceballos
Ms. Ceballos, affectionately known by students as Ms. C, brings over 35 years of experience in education, having worked across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Before transitioning into counseling, she spent 15 years as an English and reading teacher, where they discovered a deep passion for supporting students beyond academics. Recognizing that many classroom moments were devoted to helping students navigate personal challenges, Ms. Ceballos felt called to make a greater impact—and thus began the journey into school counseling.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Florida State University and a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from Argosy University. She is very committed to supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional growth, and is especially passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to success. Ms. Ceballos believes that building trust through honesty and empathy is key to meaningful student relationships.
Away from her professional role, Ms. Ceballos recently relocated from Florida’s West Coast to the East Coast and is enjoying the unique charm that both regions have to offer. She is a proud mother of three beautiful daughters and a grandmother to four grandchildren. In her free time, she likes spending quality time with friends and family, creating lasting memories through laughter and shared adventures.
Ms. Ceballos is thrilled to join the team at Hidden Oaks Middle School. She is looking forward to learning from the dedicated staff and contributing from her own experiences. Most of all, she's excited to get to know the students and families, and to grow alongside them throughout the school year.

Mrs. Mastache
Mrs. Mastache, also known as Mrs. M., has worked in education for over a decade and has had the privilege of counseling students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as mentoring first-year college students. While she has enjoyed each of these experiences, she admits that middle school is her favorite.
She holds a Master’s degree in Counselor Education and is deeply passionate about supporting students as they navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges. She is especially driven to help students discover career paths that excite them and ignite hope for their futures.
Outside of her professional life, Mrs. Mastache comes from a large family with eight siblings and is fluent in Haitian-Creole. In high school, she placed in the top nine statewide in Florida’s Track & Field for both Shot Put and Discus events—even while injured. That experience taught her the value of perseverance, a lesson she carries with her into all aspects of life and work.
Mrs. Mastache is excited to continue her journey at HOMS, where she is surrounded by dedicated teachers and staff. Most of all, she looks forward to getting to know the students and their families, and to learning as much from them as they will from her.
