An official transcript must be mailed to the FLDOE, unless sent electronically through FASTER or SPEEDE. Allow the FLDOE 30 days to process your transcript from the time they receive it.

All first-time Florida educators must send their official college transcripts to the Florida Dept. of Education. Transcripts must be mailed to the FLDOE, unless sent electronically through FASTER or SPEEDE. Allow the FLDOE 30 days to process your transcripts from the time they receive them.

If you have a degree from another country, it must be evaluated by an accredited organization to determine its US equivalency, and then the official evaluation should be mailed to the FLDOE.

If you have a valid teaching certificate from another state, attach a copy of it to your online application as the Florida Department of Education has certificate reciprocity with all states. It depends on what type of certificate and what subject you hold in that state that will determine what you are eligible for in Florida.
