A School Advisory Council is a group comprised of parents, teachers, and other stakeholders who have a vested interest in a school. Florida Statute 1001.452 states that that the SAC shall assist in the preparation and evaluation of the school improvement plan (SIP). The SAC also advises the school administration on policies and programs within their purview.
