Band Supply List All Grades
Materials needed for class every day:

• Keep individual sheet music in a music folder or 1” 3 Ring View Finder Binder

• 25 Clear Sheet Protects (suggested but not required)

• Set of Highlighters (yellow, blue, green, orange, pink)

• Pack of pencils

• 20 sheets of notebook paper

• Grade specific method books

     (Alfred's Accent On Achievement)      

Required materials for your instrument:

• Brass-mouthpiece and valve oil

• Woodwinds-2-3 good reeds and your cleaning swab

• Percussion-stick bag with the appropriate sticks and mallets

Suggested materials:

• A computer or smart device (for recording practice minutes or a playing exam)

• Tuner/Metronome (Suggested phone app used for practice)

BRASS SUPPLIES

• Trumpet: 7c (Bach is the best brand), valve oil, polishing cloth, cleaning brushes

• F Horn : Bach 11, Yamaha 30C4, or Holton Farkas MC, rotary oil, polishing cloth, cleaning brushes

• Trombone: Slide cream, polishing cloth, cleaning brushes

• Baritone/Euphonium: 6 ½ AL (small shank) (Bach is the best brand), valve oil, polishing cloth, cleaning brushes. Some Euphoniums require a large shank mouthpiece.

• Tuba: Bach Tuba/Sousaphone Mouthpiece 24AW or Conn Helleberg 7B Series Tuba Mouthpiece, valve oil, polishing cloth, cleaning brushes

PERCUSSION SUPPLIES
All of the following supplies are MANDATORY for ALL percussionists:

• 1. School Percussion Maintenance Fee (paid through band dues to school)
