Treasure Coast Honor Band is an opportunity for students to put their acquired skills to use by participating in a rehearsal and concert experience with other music students from the county. Treasure Coast Honor Band is organized by the music department of Indian River State College. Participants are recommended based on meeting specific performance and transportation requirements (see Mr. Nottage for details) and chosen by the Honor Band festival organizers. If chosen students will perform a concert with student from all middle schools across the county. Parents are responsible for providing transportation. There is also a registration fee to be paid upon notice of being accepted. Participants are required to attend all rehearsals. (the schedule will be made available prior to auditioning. It is a three-day event. (Three rehearsals and one performance.) Four audition slots are available for 7th and 8th grade band members.
