At Indiantown Middle School, we pride ourselves on being more than a school—we are a close-knit community that empowers students to grow into confident, capable leaders. Nestled in the heart of Indiantown and led by many former students turned educators, IMS blends tradition with innovation to create a student experience like no other.

Arrival Procedures

To ensure the safety of all students, parents and guardians must follow all posted school zone speed limits and traffic directions. Student drop-off begins at 8:35 a.m. in the car loop only. Please enter through the car loop entrance near the cafeteria and remain in a single lane at all times. For safety, cell phone use is prohibited in the car loop and vehicles must not exceed 10 MPH. Students should exit vehicles promptly once the car has come to a complete stop. Walkers and bike riders must enter campus through designated entry points and follow the instructions of the crossing guard. Motorized or electric ride-on devices are not permitted on campus. Bikes must be secured in the bike rack area, and personal ride-on items must remain stored during the school day.

Supervision on campus begins at 8:50 a.m. Students should not arrive before this time unless prior written permission has been approved by the Principal. Breakfast is available from 8:50–9:20 a.m. in the cafeteria, and students must remain in the cafeteria until dismissed. The school day begins promptly at 9:20 a.m. Students arriving after this time are considered tardy and must report directly to class. Parents must sign in students for an excused tardy.
