Welcome to Jensen Beach Elementary! It’s a privilege to serve as principal of a school that not only prioritizes strong academics but also inspires students to care for their environment and their community.

I bring two decades of experience in education, including roles as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal. Over the years, I’ve led school improvement efforts, strengthened early literacy programs, and supported teachers in delivering high-quality instruction. I believe in creating schools where every child feels seen, supported, and challenged to grow.

What makes JBE so special is our shared commitment to environmental stewardship. Our students engage in meaningful, hands-on learning that encourages them to think critically and take action to protect the world around them. It’s learning with purpose- and it’s one of the many things that sets our school apart.

Above all, I believe that strong relationships- with students, families, staff, and our community- are the foundation of a thriving school. I’m excited to partner with you as we continue to grow, learn, and lead together.

Welcome to Jensen Beach Elementary, where our mission is to foster academic excellence while promoting a strong sense of environmental stewardship. I am honored to serve as the assistant principal of JBE since the 2013-2014 school year.

With over 20 years of experience in education — including 10 years as an elementary school teacher in the Martin County School District — I am deeply committed to creating an enriching, sustainable learning environment for all students.

Throughout my career, I have led initiatives in school improvement, curriculum development, staff mentorship, and community engagement. I am especially passionate about integrating environmental education into our academic programs and nurturing a culture that values inclusion and understanding. At JBE, we proudly support Autism awareness and are committed to celebrating neurodiversity by providing supportive, student-centered strategies that help every child succeed.
