Mrs. Rabener has been a part of the Martin County School District for 18 years and is entering her 21st year in education. A New Jersey native, she graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Psychology and Elementary Education. To further her education, she enrolled at Florida Atlantic University where she earned her Master's in Educational Leadership. She has two children, one at PCE and one at Hidden Oaks Middle School. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading professional books and novels, and enjoying our beautiful beaches.
During her first years in education, Mrs. Rabener taught kindergarten in Broward County before serving as a kindergarten teacher, a first grade teacher, and a literacy coach at Port Salerno Elementary for five years. In 2013, Mrs. Rabener became the literacy coach at Bessey Creek Elementary before moving to Palm City Elementary School as the assistant principal in 2017. After 5 years of being the assistant principal at PCE, she was promoted to principal in September of 2022.
Always a learner, Mrs. Rabener participated in the National Institute for School Leadership (NISL) and became a Certified NISL Educator. She also was part of the Martin County School District's first cohort with The Leadership Academy. She has provided countless professional development opportunities for Martin County School District and is proud to call Palm City Elementary home.
During the upcoming school year she plans to continue the legacy of academic excellence that PCE has earned with the support of our teachers, staff, the community, parents, and the PCE PTA. #AllPAWSIn
