State of Florida High School Diploma Program:

  • GED Test Preparation: Focused instruction in Math, Reading, Social Studies, and Science to prepare students for the GED exam.

  • College/Career Exploration & Pathways: Guidance and education to help students explore career options and plan future pathways.

  • Personalized Scheduling: Student schedules are determined based on CASAS (Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems) results to ensure appropriate placement.

  • Eligibility: Students must be at least 16 years of age to enroll.

  • Childcare: Students may receive childcare for children 1-4 while parents study.

Class Schedules:

Daytime: 16 hours per week required

Monday-Thursday         9:30am to 1:30pm
Fridays by appointment with teacher

Evening:

Monday- Wednesday         5:00pm to 8:30pm

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

  • Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Credit Recovery Option for High School students who meet qualifications.

  • Program Features: Accelerated, Flexible, Self-Paced Learning

  • Blended Learning Options: Remote and in-person instruction available through Edgenuity

  • State Testing: EOC/FSA testing provided for enrolled students

  • Attendance Requirement: Minimum of 20 hours per week, with at least 16 hours on campus

  • Eligibility: Must be at least 16 years of age to enroll

  • Childcare Services: Childcare available for children ages 1–4 while parents attend classes

Martin County operates an official Pearson VUE Testing Center at our Stuart Campus. In addition to the GED® exam, we offer a wide variety of professional and academic assessments through the Pearson VUE platform.

Earning Your State of Florida High School Diploma via GED®

To earn your State of Florida High School Diploma through the GED® exam, you must:

  • Pass all four subtests:

    • Mathematical Reasoning

    • Social Studies

    • Science

    • Reasoning Through Language Arts (Reading)

  • Score at least 145 points on each subtest
