For 35 years, the Willoughby Learning Center, formerly known as Challenger, has proudly served our community as the county’s alternative school for at-risk students. We provide a structured environment where students can focus on achieving their academic and behavioral goals. We utilize a blended learning approach, combining small group instruction with the Edgenuity online program, to create a supportive environment that meets the diverse learning needs of all our students.

Willoughby Learning Center stands out as a unique K-12th grade alternative school serving the entire Martin County. Our school caters to students who benefit from a more structured learning environment, including those who have been administratively placed on our campus.

At Willoughby Learning Center, we are dedicated to offering comprehensive support to every student on our campus. Our services include on-site therapists, crisis interventionist, and a variety of additional resources designed to meet the essential needs of our students.
