First Bell: 7:00 a.m.

• Car line is open for student drop off.

•   Buses start unloading.

•   Cafeteria is open for breakfast – All students report to the cafeteria.

Bell/Breakfast Dismissal 7:20 a.m.

• All students report to their first period class/classroom.

Bell/Tardy Bell 7:30 a.m.

• Instruction Begins - Students seated in class ready to begin the school day.

• Students who enter the classroom after 7:30 a.m. will be marked tardy.

Bell/Dismissal 1:45 p.m. (Early release will be 11:45 a.m.)

• Dismissal for students that are walkers, or bike riders.

• 1:50 p.m. – Dismissal for Bus and car riders. (Early release will be 11:50 a.m.)

Student Drop Off and Pick Up Per Florida Statute 1003.31, supervision for students is available 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after school hours during regular school days only. For Willoughby Learning Center, this means that supervision will not be available before 7:00 AM nor after 2:20 PM. Parents are responsible for making sure they are compliant with the law. Supervision is not provided outside this time frame. We ask your help in keeping arrival and dismissal safe.

In emergency situations, when it becomes necessary for a child to go home by different means, the school must receive a written note from the parent/guardian indicating the change in transportation for that day. Except for emergencies, approved by administration, we will not accept phone calls for last minute changes in dismissal plans.

Parents who pick up their children in the carline in NE parking lot. Make sure that you do not pull into the bus lane during arrival and dismissal. Carline participants are encouraged to arrive no earlier than 1:40 PM. All students must be picked up from the carline NO LATER THAN 2:05 PM.

A staff member will assist students in walking over to the carline area.  Parents picking up their children must wait in the car and not walk across the parking lot through bus traffic.

Students arriving at 7:30 AM and later are tardy and must be signed in by a parent in the front office.
