During its Special (TRIM) meeting held on September 5, 2023, the Martin County School Board adopted the District's final budget for fiscal year 2023-2024. The approved budget is $568,269,365. The budget includes $249,532,366 for the District’s General Fund, which covers operational costs (including employee salaries and benefits, curriculum materials and utilities) and $247,856,022 for the Capital Projects budget (for the acquisition or construction of facilities and improvements to existing facilities).
A resolution adopted by the School Board levies a total millage rate of 5.9430 mils. This tax rate is 0.0450 mills less than the prior year.
