Shannon Armstrong and Jeff Raimann named in new HR roles

The Martin County School Board approved the appointment of Shannon Armstrong as the Human Resources Director, and Jeff Raimann as the Recruitment and Retention Director, during its Regular School Board Meeting on October 17, 2023.

Ms. Armstrong joined the Martin County School District as the Director of Recruitment and Retention in December of 2021. Ms. Armstrong holds numerous credentials in the area of Human Resources that will assist in guiding the advancement of the District's HR initiatives. She holds Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and is a certified Title IX Coordinator. She also has many years of experience in HR compliance in the education sector.

Jeff Raimann has served the Martin County School District as an educator for nearly 20 years. Most recently, Mr. Raimann led the Thunderbirds as the Indiantown Middle School principal, where he made a profound impact on the students, staff and community. Mr. Raimann was heavily involved with many initiatives related to Human Resources work with the Urban Schools Human Capital Academy (USHCA), and has a deep understanding of the critical role school and department leaders play in positive workplace atmospheres.

"Their shared commitment to our District's mission and values make them invaluable additions to our Human Resources Division."
