Schools of Excellence 25-26

The Martin County School District is proud to announce that five MCSD-operated schools have earned the prestigious School of Excellence designation for the 2025-2026 school year, further demonstrating the Districtโ€™s continued commitment to academic achievement and excellence.

Under Section 1003.631(1)(a), Florida Statutes, the Florida State Board of Education designates schools as Schools of Excellence when their percentage of possible points earned in the school grade calculation ranks in the 80th percentile or higher among schools with the same grade groupings for at least two of the previous three school years.

The Schools of Excellence Program recognizes high-performing schools and provides administrative flexibility to support continued innovation, instructional excellence and student learning.

Congratulations to the following Martin County School District schools for earning this distinction for the 2025-2026 school year:

  • Bessey Creek Elementary School

  • Citrus Grove Elementary School

  • Jensen Beach Elementary School

  • Palm City Elementary School

  • Hidden Oaks Middle School

This achievement reflects the dedication of the educators, school leaders, students and families who contribute to these schoolsโ€™ continued success. The recognition also comes as the Martin County School District celebrates back-to-back A ratings and regaining its Academically High-Performing District status, underscoring the sustained effort taking place across our schools to provide students with a high-quality education.
