The mission of the Anderson Middle School Media Center is to teach students to be effective users of information and to encourage and prepare students to be life-long learners. This mission is accomplished by:
providing instruction in information literacy
providing intellectual and physical access to informational materials in a variety of formats and media.
stimulating interest in reading and in finding and using information and ideas.
promoting the use of the media center by students and faculty
working with teachers to develop educational strategies to meet the information needs of students.
supporting the school's curriculum and reading initiatives.
Media Center Hours of Operation
The Anderson Middle School Media Center is open from 15 minutes before the school day to 15 minutes after the school day. Students are welcome to come to the Media Center to check-out and return books during the school day with their teacher's permission. They will also have a set time and class period during which they can check-out and return books. Students are permitted to check-out two books at a time as long as they care for them properly.
Book Fair
Anderson Middle School holds book fairs once a year, and all proceeds go towards buying more books for our Media Center.

You will be prompted to log into Destiny using your computer log on credentials ( 4300# and your password).
Choose check-out.
You now have the book. Don't forget to return it when finished by simply logging in again and clicking return.
