IMPORTANT ESC Camp Information

IMPORTANT ESC Day Camp and Camp WET Information

CAMP HOURS

 8:30am-3:00pm

*There is a per minute fee for campers that are not picked up on time.

 CARLINE

Please have your camper/s stay in the car until a staff member opens the door.  This is crucial for the safety of our campers

If You Are A Car Rider, A Bicycle Rider Or You Will Walk To Camp, You Should:

Arrive On Campus No Earlier Than…8:15 a.m.

Depart From Campus No Later Than…3:00 p.m.

Parents/Guardians – a note or email is mandatory when:

1)     Your child needs to leave camp early. Remember campers may be at other locations other than the ESC at different times of the day.  You will need to coordinate this ahead of time with the office.

2) There is a change in your child’s afternoon transportation. The first day of camp your child will be given a list of the week’s activities and locations. This schedule will be adjusted at the teacher’s discretion if weather and/or beach conditions appear unfavorable.

 Medical Drop Off

On the first day if you need to drop off medicine you must park and go into the front office with your camper.  There will be marked parking spaces available.  *Remember your Form 135 along with medication.  Children will not be permitted to stay at camp without their Form 135—that must be signed by a doctor.

Last day of camp it is important that you remember to take home your child's medication. This can be done at the front office.

Please call the office prior if you have any questions prior. 772-291-1887

 Helpful Hints

1)     To prevent loss-put camper’s name on all clothing, towels, shoes, coolers, sunscreen, etc. Unlabeled belongings may wind up in the “Lost and Found” bin or get LOST!

2)    All campers need an old pair of sneakers or water shoes that can be left here all week and a pair of flip flops to wear to and from the camp. NO SOCKS, PLEASE! NO “CROCS” FOR SEINING!

3)    Campers should not bring gum to camp.

4)    Campers will be encouraged to bring a “lite litter lunch.” They will be enlisting your help to purchase trash free and recyclable products.

5)    Campers should wear a swimsuit to camp each morning with a shirt. They will be getting in the water everyday weather permitting. They may change into dry clothing at the end of the day if there is time.

6)    Campers spend a lot of time in the sun and in the water, so it is important to apply waterproof sunscreen at home each morning and send lots of drinks (a reusable water bottle is very helpful and environmentally conscientious). (No high caffeine drinks, please)

7)    Ice Cream/Snacks is sold every day for $1.00.
