The Martin County School Board approved the appointment of Dayna Carroll as Assistant Principal of Hobe Sound Elementary School during its meeting on June 16, 2026.
Ms. Carroll brings more than two decades of experience to her new role. Since joining the Martin County School District in 2001, she has dedicated her career to serving elementary students, families and educators throughout the community.
A familiar face in the Hobe Sound community, she most recently served as Assistant Principal at SeaWind Elementary School, where she supported daily operations and student success alongside staff and families.
She began her career as a classroom teacher at J.D. Parker Elementary School and later taught first and third grade at Pinewood Elementary. During her time at Pinewood, she also served as a Literacy Coach, working closely with teachers to strengthen instruction and support student achievement in reading.
Ms. Carroll’s experience as both an educator and school leader will be a valuable asset to the students, staff and families of Hobe Sound Elementary School.
