Hobe Sound Elementary is excited to share that Ms. Stephanie DeVoe is being recommended to continue serving as Assistant Principal of Hobe Sound Elementary for the 26-27 school year, pending school board approval.
A familiar face to students, staff, and families, Ms. DeVoe has been part of the Hobe Sound Elementary community for more than 15 years. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of roles, including Science Coach, STEM Coordinator, 5th Grade Lead Teacher, and science interventionist.
Since previously announced administrative assignments were shared, the District has made an adjustment to leadership plans for Hobe Sound Elementary. Given that Ms. DeVoe helped lead the Eagles to regain a B rating as Assistant Principal, she has been recommended to continue to serve as Assistant Principal.
As Hobe Sound Elementary prepares for another school year, we are excited to continue benefiting from Ms. DeVoe's leadership, experience, and knowledge of the Eagle community as the school builds on the progress made in recent years.
Her appointment will be presented to the Martin County School Board for consideration.
