Indiantown Middle School is excited to welcome Scott Caruso as its new Principal following his approval by the School Board on June 16, 2026.
Mr. Caruso brings a strong background in middle school leadership and a passion for supporting students, staff, and school communities. He joins the Martin County School District from Palm Beach County, where he most recently served as assistant principal at Howell L. Watkins Middle School in Palm Beach Gardens. In that role, he provided leadership for curriculum and instruction, student achievement initiatives, safety and supervision, transportation operations and teacher development.
His experience spans both elementary and middle school settings and includes instructional coaching, support for English Language Learners and schoolwide improvement efforts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Caruso has worked closely with students, staff, and families to build positive, connected school environments and ensure every child feels supported and ready to learn. His approach centers on strong relationships, clear communication, and a focus on what’s best for students and their families.
Mr. Caruso earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science degree in educational leadership from Barry University.
He will officially begin his new role as principal of Indiantown Middle School on July 1, 2026. Welcome to the Nest, Mr. Caruso!
