Superintendent Michael Maine will recommend Guillermo Orozco to serve as the next Principal of Indiantown Middle School, pending approval by the Martin County School Board at its September 15 meeting.
Mr. Orozco has served as Interim Principal of Indiantown Middle School for the past six weeks, providing stability and leadership as the school began the 2026-2027 school year.
During his time as Interim Principal, Mr. Orozco has built strong relationships with students, staff and families while maintaining a clear focus on student achievement, school culture and continued improvement.
Mr. Orozco brings extensive school and district leadership experience to the role. Before joining the District Office as Coordinator of Student Services, he served as an assistant principal at Hidden Oaks Middle School, Murray Middle School and Martin County High School.
If approved by the School Board, Mr. Orozco will officially assume the role of principal. His current position as Coordinator of Student Services will be posted as the District begins the process of identifying the next leader for that role.
