Jensen Beach Elementary is proud to announce that it has earned an "A" school grade from the Florida Department of Education for the 2025-2026 school year.
This achievement reflects the dedication, perseverance, and teamwork of the entire Jensen Beach Elementary community. From the hard work of students and the commitment of teachers and staff to the unwavering support of families, volunteers, and community partners, this accomplishment is truly a shared success.
The school's performance demonstrated significant growth across multiple academic areas. Highlights include:
77% 3-5 ELA Achievement (+3 percentage points from last year)
84% 3-5 Math Achievement (+6 percentage points from last year)
81% 5th Grade Science Achievement (+13 percentage points from last year)
78% ELA Lowest Quartile Learning Gains (+10 percentage points from last year)
Jensen Beach Elementary also increased its overall school grade score by 23 points, earning 606 out of 800 points, an increase of three percentage points from the previous year.
Principal Cristina Smith praised the collective effort behind the achievement.
"An 'A' school grade represents so much more than a letter. It reflects the commitment our staff makes to students each day, the determination of our students, the support of our families, and the partnership of our volunteers and community. I couldn't be more proud of what we have accomplished together."
