Jensen Beach Elementary will host a UFLI Parent Night for Kindergarten and 1st Grade families on Thursday, September 10 at 6:00 PM in the JBE Media Center.
During the evening, families will learn more about UFLI Foundations, the structured literacy program used in our K–1 classrooms to build strong foundational reading skills. Parents will get an inside look at how students develop phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, spelling, high-frequency word recognition, and fluency through UFLI instruction.
Families will also leave with a better understanding of how they can reinforce these important reading skills at home.
