Jensen Beach Elementary is excited to celebrate National AVID Day on Friday, September 18! Students and staff are invited to show their school spirit by wearing the colors or gear of their favorite college, university, or JBE.
JBE is currently in our planning year to become an AVID Elementary School, joining other schools across the Martin County School District. AVID, which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination, helps students develop the skills, habits, and mindsets that support success in school, college, careers, and life.
Families interested in learning more about AVID and what it will look like at JBE are invited to attend one of our upcoming meetings. A brief AVID overview will be included as part of the PTA Meeting on October 6 at 5:30 PM and the SAC Meeting on October 7 at 2:15 PM.
We are excited to begin this journey with our Vikings and continue helping every student dream big, set goals, and prepare for a bright future! 💙💛🎓
