J.D. Parker Elementary School received a $5,000 donation from Burlington Stores in celebration of opening its brand-new store in Jensen Beach on Oct. 6, 2023.
Each time Burlington opens a new location, the company celebrates by adopting and funding local classrooms in their new store community in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org.
The donation will be used to purchase a variety of instructional supplies to help ensure students at J.D. Parker Elementary have the learning materials and tools they need to succeed now and in the future.
“On behalf of J.D. Parker Elementary School and the Martin County School District, I would like to welcome our new Burlington store to Jensen Beach and thank them for their generous donation to our school,” said Principal Aimee Morrell. “We are excited to purchase instructional supplies and positive behavior incentives for students with this funding. We are thankful for the support we have received from Burlington and AdoptAClassroom.org.”
