The Martin County School District will host its 2nd Annual District-Wide Black History Month Event on Saturday, February 21, bringing students, families, and community members together to celebrate history, culture, and student achievement.
The event will take place at Stuart Middle School, with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. and the program beginning at 9:00 a.m. Schools from across the District will participate, showcasing student artwork and live performances that include singing, readings, and poetry. The celebration highlights both student talent and the historical and cultural contributions recognized during Black History Month.
Families and community members are invited to attend and experience performances and displays representing schools throughout Martin County.
New this year, Georgia Boy & Ethel’s Famous Wings will be on site with food available for purchase during the event.
The District encourages the community to attend and take part in this celebration honoring history, creativity, and student expression.
