Congratulations to our 24 newly licensed Certified Nursing Assistants, many who are dual certified in CNA and CMAA. All of our Nursing Assistant students passed their state license on their first attempt! These students have completed 4 years in the Medical Academy. The Medical Academy program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Health Science career cluster. This includes technical skills proficiency and includes competency based applied learning. These students successfully passed the Florida Board of Nursing’s exam and are now eligible to enter the workforce. Workforce Opportunities including Nursing and Rehabilitative Centers and Hospitals.
