Winners of the 2023 Palm Beach Post's Pathfinder Awards

Seven Martin County School District outstanding seniors placed in the Palm Beach Post's 2023 Pathfinder Scholarship Awards!

The Palm Beach Post's Pathfinder Awards are presented each year to 54 of the best and brightest seniors in Martin and Palm Beach counties who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in academic, vocational and athletic categories. One of the state's largest and most comprehensive high school scholarship programs, the Pathfinder Awards program grants nominees the honor of competing against their peers for more than $117,000 in college scholarships.

Earlier this year, 45 Martin County School District students were nominated. Of those outstanding students, 22 moved on to the next round.

Congratulations to the seven students who were awarded scholarships:

  • Sophie Araque-Liu, Martin County High School: 3rd Place in Art
  • Laurali Firestone, Martin County High School: 3rd Place in Business
  • Daniela Mendoza, Martin County High School: 1st Place in Career & Technology
  • Charles Barrowclough, Martin County High School: 2nd Place in Forensics/Speech
  • Julian Heidelberg, Martin County High School: 2nd Place in Literature
  • Bella Llanes, South Fork High School: 3rd Place in Theatre
  • Ty Raimann, South Fork High School: 3rd Place in World Languages
