⚖️CELEBRATING CONSTITUTIONAL SCHOLARS⚖️ In partnership with the YMCA of The Treasure Coast and Florida YMCA Youth In Government, student teams from Jensen Beach High School, Martin County High School and South Fork High School competed in the 2024 Constitutional Debate Competition on Friday, February 2. Each team debated the U.S. Supreme Court case “Mahoney Area School District vs B.L.” before presiding 19th Judicial Circuit Court judges - the Honorable Kathleen Roberts and the Honorable Jennifer Alcorta Waters. During the debate, students made opening and closing arguments and answered questions from the judges. The two teams advancing in the competition are Nira Goyal (Senior) & Nina Goyal (Freshman) from MCHS and Savannah Kautz (Junior) & Ameera Mehan (Junior) from SFHS.
