The Martin County School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Erica Wozny as an Interim Assistant Principal at Martin County High School.
Ms. Wozny is a dedicated bilingual educational leader with more than a decade of experience supporting student achievement, safety, and well-being. She most recently served as a District Instructional Coach, where she provided professional learning and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff in areas such as small-group instruction, ELL/AVID strategies, and technology integration.
Previously, she served as an Intervention Teacher and Dean at Stuart Middle School, overseeing MTSS/PBIS implementation, safety procedures, and disciplinary processes while also mentoring new teachers. She began her career in the Martin County School District as a mathematics teacher at Martin County High School, where she taught for nearly a decade and led the Algebra I team.
Ms. Wozny holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Mathematics from Indian River State College. She is certified in Educational Leadership (K-12), Mathematics (5–9), and as a Clinical Educator. Ms. Wozny is also fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
The Martin County School Board approved her appointment at its August 19, 2025, meeting.
