The Martin County School District is proud to announce that 45 students have been recognized by the College Board for their outstanding achievement in the AP Capstone program.
A total of 44 students from Jensen Beach High School and one student from Martin County High School earned the AP Capstone Diploma, a distinction awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional college-level academic and research skills. In addition, 10 Jensen Beach High School students earned the AP Seminar and Research Certificate, recognizing their success in both foundational AP Capstone courses.
These students are among approximately 27,650 scholars worldwide who earned the AP Capstone Diploma during the 2025 AP exam administration.
To earn this prestigious honor, students must achieve scores of 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research, as well as on four additional AP exams of their choosing. The achievement reflects students’ commitment to rigorous academic inquiry, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication, skills that prepare them for success in college and beyond.
The AP Capstone program, created by the College Board, consists of two yearlong courses (AP Seminar and AP Research) designed to equip students with the tools needed for independent research, evidence-based writing, and effective presentation. The program provides a foundation for college and career readiness through student-centered learning and performance-based assessments.
The Martin County School District congratulates all AP Capstone Diploma and Certificate recipients for this remarkable accomplishment and extends its appreciation to the teachers and administrators who supported them along the way.
