Martin County High School is proud to announce that Nina Goyal has been selected as the 2026 Sunshine State Scholar Alternate, an honor that recognizes Florida’s most outstanding students in STEAM—science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics.
The Sunshine State Scholars Program, established in 1997, was originally designed to spotlight high school seniors who excelled in mathematics and science through rigorous district and regional challenges. Over the years, the program has evolved to celebrate the state’s top 11th-grade students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and the potential to drive future innovation.
As an alternate scholar, Nina joins an elite group of students who will have the opportunity to engage in statewide events connecting with Florida’s leading colleges, universities, and industry representatives. These events provide scholars and their families with valuable insight into postsecondary education and career pathways in STEM and STEAM fields.
This recognition reflects Nina’s dedication, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to excellence. Her achievement is a testament to the strong academic culture at Martin County High School and the support of educators who inspire students to reach their highest potential.
Congratulations, Nina! Your Tiger family is proud of you. 🐾💙💛
