The Martin County School Board approved the appointment of Lauren Thompson as Assistant Principal of Martin County High School during its meeting on June 16, 2026.
A familiar face on campus, Ms. Thompson has spent much of her career serving the Martin County High School community in both instructional and leadership roles.
Most recently, she has served as Assistant Principal at Jensen Beach High School since the 2021–2022 school year. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Principal at Martin County High School and previously taught there as a classroom teacher.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Thompson taught mathematics at Murray Middle School, where she served students for more than a decade.
With nearly 20 years of experience in Martin County, Ms. Thompson brings strong institutional knowledge, established relationships, and a continued commitment to supporting students, staff, and families at Martin County High School.
