Martin County High School is proud to introduce the new Scholar Athlete Recognition Program, a special initiative designed to celebrate student-athletes who excel not only in competition, but also in the classroom and throughout our school community.
The program recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate the qualities that define a true Tiger: academic achievement, leadership, character, sportsmanship, and a commitment to excellence every day.
Coaches nominate student-athletes who exemplify the following criteria:
Strong attendance
3.0 GPA or higher
No discipline concerns
Positive character
Leadership
Sportsmanship
The Scholar Athlete Recognition Program highlights the importance of balancing athletic success with academic responsibility and positive contributions to the school community.
First Fall Scholar Athlete Nominees Announced
Martin County High School is excited to recognize the first nominees of the 2025 Fall season:

These outstanding Tigers have been selected by their coaches for demonstrating excellence both in their sport and in their daily commitment to representing MCHS with pride and integrity.

Recognizing Excellence All Year Long
A Scholar Athlete winner will be selected at the conclusion of each athletic season:

At the end of the school year, one overall Scholar Athlete will be recognized from among the seasonal winners.
This new program reflects MCHS's commitment to developing well-rounded students who lead by example in the classroom, on campus, and in competition.
