Josh Moberg & Al Fabrizio

It is with great excitement that I announce our very own, Josh Moberg, as the newest addition to our MCHS administrative team as the Assistant Principal of Athletics pending School Board Approval.

Josh brings with him an extensive coaching background, served as a career specialist and CTE team leader for several years, and has a passion for Martin County High School.

Josh was most recently recognized as MCHS 2021-2022 CTE Teacher of the Year! He has been at MCHS since 2002; he began teaching Drafting in 2004. During his time here at MCHS,  Josh has built positive relationships with his students and impacted thousands of Drafting students that have walked through the door of his classroom. Many have gone off to have very successful careers using the skills they learned in Josh's classroom. Josh's impact reaches far beyond the classroom walls and out to the fields and we are privileged to have him support our students and teachers in a new capacity.

Moberg has been a coach for the last 24 years; most notably he has been a longtime girls’ soccer coach, leading the team to multiple district championships as well as Martin County High Schools only appearance in the Girls’ Soccer Final Four. Josh also coached Track, Cross Country, Swimming, Diving, and Baseball over the years.

Moberg is synonymous with Tiger Family - as he has also shared the MCHS halls and field with his two daughters, Emily and Elizabeth who graduated from MCHS, and his daughter Dakota is currently an MCHS student athlete. In due time, Autumn Moberg, his youngest daughter will also become a tiger.  Truly the phrase…”Once a Tiger, Forever a Tiger” is a perfect fit when it comes to describing Josh. On behalf of our kids, parents, faculty, staff, and admin team, we say thank you to Josh for all he has done for MCHS to positively impact the lives of so many!
