Two MCHS OPUS students have made it into the Florida All-State Reading Chorus. This is a huge honor as only 25 students from each section (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) are chosen from across the entire state! After the first round of auditions, these two scored among the highest 100 students and made it straight to All-State.
Please congratulate Allyson Andaluz and Elliott Steward!! Our other All-State students have made it to the second round on Oct. 12. Brandon Bergeman, Abigail Bean, Mallory Goddard, Josephine Butera, Emma Nielsen and Mariel Scher. (The most we've had make it this far in the past 5 years!) We will find out if they make it in November!
