Dear Murray Middle School Families,

We hope that it has been a great week back! As we begin the fourth and final quarter of the school year, I want to thank you for your continued partnership and support. This final stretch is an exciting and important time for our students as they reflect on their growth, demonstrate their learning, and finish the year strong.

Below are a few important reminders and highlights as we head into the last quarter:

📚 Tutoring & Academic Support

·         Still available on Monday (ELA) and Tuesday (Math) afternoons through April 28^th

·         Algebra tutoring also offered on Thursday mornings

·         Activity Bus available on Monday and Tuesday afternoons

🚌 Upcoming Science Field Trips

·         If your child is planning to attend but they haven’t submitted their forms yet, they should be submitted by Monday, March 30^th to Mrs. Jerrells

·         Tuesday, April 14^th: 7^th Grade to Museum of Discovery and Science 8:30-5:30pm

·         Tuesday, April 21^st: 6^th Grade to Miami Zoo 7:30-5:30pm

·         Tuesday, April 28^th: 8^th Grade to Kennedy Space Center 7:30-5:30pm

🤝Family Engagement Night

·         Monday, April 27^th 5:30-7:30pm in the Cafeteria

·         Dinner will be served at 5:30 and “Linking Families through Learning” will immediately follow

·         May 12^th: ELA PM3 Assessment (all grades)

·         May 14^th: Math PM3 Assessment (6-8, Alg., & Geo.)

·         May 19^th: Science PM3 Assessment (8^th grade only)

·         May 21^st: Civics PM3 Assessment (8^th grade only)
