Murray Middle School is proud to announce our Teacher of the Year, Ms. Goens, an outstanding educator who exemplifies excellence in the classroom and service-focused leadership throughout our school community.
Known for her strong instructional practices, she consistently engages students with meaningful, high-quality learning experiences that support the success of all learners. Her commitment to academic excellence is evident in the thoughtful and intentional ways she meets the needs of her students each day.
Beyond the classroom, she is deeply dedicated to serving both our school and the larger community. She actively builds positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, helping to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Ms. Goens is the founder of Pink Lions which is a service-based club that provides opportunities for students to develop leadership and empowerment skills.
A true team player, she is also known for uplifting and celebrating those around her. Her ability to recognize the successes of her peers contributes to a positive school culture and reinforces the strong sense of connection that defines Murray Middle School.
