We are headed into week #3 with a strong foundation built the last two weeks! Our students have done an incredible job acclimating back to school, following the school-wide expectations, and there's still such a buzz of excitement around campus. I'm confident this is going to be the best year yet!
As we approach the new week, I wanted to highlight a few upcoming events and reminders.
Our first SAC Meeting of the school year is on Thursday, August 27th at 8:15 in the Media Center. We will discuss the meeting schedule for the year, school improvement plan goals, family/caregiver results from May 2026, construction updates, and a few other topics. Please join us!

PTSA General Meeting will take place on Thursday, August 27th at 4:45pm in the Media Center. Come hear about the amazing things on the horizon and see if there is an opportunity for you to get involved!
Middle School Curriculum Night is also Thursday, August 27th from 5-7pm. We will begin in the cafeteria at 5pm where families will have the opportunity to explore clubs, athletics, and extracurricular opportunities available for our students.

Students and siblings are welcome to attend!
You will have the opportunity to visit all of your students' classrooms, meet their teachers, and learn more about what you can expect in each of the courses.
Regular student attendance is a critical component for student success. If your child is well, please ensure that they are on time and attending school on a regular basis.
Our ID, Dress Code, and Tardy violation systems are in effect. Students are afforded two warnings before consequences begin according to the Student Code of Conduct. Violations are reset for each quarter. Please remind your student of the importance of following the district policy on these items.
Gradebook grades in Focus are updated regularly. Frequently monitoring your student's gradebook or asking them to share with you is a great habit to ensure things are maintained throughout the grading period. If you have any grade-specific questions, please reach out to your student's teacher.
