Good afternoon, Murray Families!
I hope that you've had a wonderful weekend with your families and are enjoying the taste of fall we experienced this morning. It was beautiful!
It's hard to believe that we are beginning the last week of September and that October is just a few short days away. We are certainly off and running in The Den, and I'm so proud of the progress our students are making each day.
Please read through the helpful information and updates below as we approach the end of Quarter 1:
The end of the first quarter is Friday, October 9th. It's important that students are actively reviewing their gradebooks and submitting any assignments that may be missing. This may include assignments from when students were absent and/or just things that weren't turned in.
If you haven't already completed the annual Meal Application to see if your student qualifies for free or reduced meals on campus, please do so! Even if you believe your student may not qualify. https://www.myschoolapps.com/
The construction on our new building continues to make progress with the entire project still on schedule. The first round of concrete for the foundation will begin this week.
We will have a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Tuesday, October 27th beginning at 4:30. This event is open for students, staff, families, and community members! We hope to see you all there.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, October 28th from 5-8pm with more information to come but be sure to pencil us in!
I'm looking forward to another great week in The Den and as always, thank you for trusting your student's education with Murray Middle School.
Kind regards,
Principal Roth
